CVE Announces the Planned Aquisition of Empire Tractor
Champlain Valley Equipment (CVE) announces the planned acquisition of Empire Tractor, effective November 1st, marking a significant step in the company’s strategic growth. This acquisition expands CVE’s presence into central New York, adding six new locations in Batavia, Atlanta, Cortland, Waterloo, Watertown, and Canton.
Empire Tractor, a reputable dealer of Kubota and New Holland equipment, employs approximately 90 staff members. CVE plans to rebrand these stores under the Champlain Valley Equipment name and integrate them into its existing operations.
In addition to Kubota and New Holland, Empire Tractor carries other leading brands such as Oxbo, Kinze, Landpride, Great Plains, and other specialty manufacturers depending on the store. Not all lines may be available across CVE’s entire network due to trade agreements.
With this acquisition, CVE strengthens its position as a leading equipment dealer in the region, expanding its reach into one of the largest markets in the Northeast. The New York locations will offer the same high level of service and support that CVE is known for in Vermont, ensuring a seamless experience for customers new and old.
“We are excited about this new chapter and confident that with the dedication of our team, we will successfully integrate and grow these new locations,” CVE President, Brian Carpenter, added.
